You will need a location with an absolute minimum of 5,000sqft of space (the bigger the better) and rent under $2000 a month (the cheaper the better) and it is preferred to be off the beaten path somewhere. We DO NOT want to be in a shopping center somewhere. Look for an old industrial building, warehouse or barn somewhere. People will drive to your location with the right marketing (which we will help provide). While this opportunity is fun and fulfilling, it is a lot of work. You will need a way to pick up items being donated, so a truck or SUV and trailer and 20 to 30 hours a week to work it are a minimum for whichever expansion package you decide works best for you. Lastly, before an Expansion Agreement will be granted to you, you must come to Gastonia NC, at your own expense, to meet the Founders and work the operation for a minimum of 2 weeks to ensure you are a good fit for our organization and that you fully understand what you are signing on for.
As we've stated before, this business started by accident, out of need not greed but has proven itself to be very viable and quite lucrative. If you've ever had to clean out or handle the estate of a loved one, then you already know how much work it is. We encourage people to sell all they can and give away all they can to friends , relatives and neighbors but there will come a point where they just want what is left to be gone so they can move on and that's where we come in. We come pick up all the stuff and remove it for you and we don't charge you and you don't charge us. A win, win for everyone. Additionally, the generation that we're losing right now is the generation that didn't throw away anything but the generation that's ending up with all the stuff is the generation that throws away everything. On top of that, we've made it easy for anyone with a desire to do good for people, a willingness to work and a willingness to learn to be able to open a location with as little as just a few thousand dollars of investment capital (typically just the funds needed to lease the space and have the power turned on). Currently we are not charging an expansion fee but as an Owner Operator, you will be fully financially responsible for everything at startup and daily operations. Things like finding the location and leasing that location at your own expense and all operating expenses (hiring help, advertising, payments for delivered donations (we pay up to $20 to people that bring donations to us) etc). You own the business. We will provide you all the systems, rules, paperwork needed, help you with your marketing (put you on our website, fb page and other social media), and provide you with permission to use the name THE MYSTERY BOX WAREHOUSE (our intellectual property) and the rights to use our trademarked phrase ADMISSION SHOPPING and #AdmissionShopping as well as support from us on an ongoing basis. For this we will receive 10% of your Gross weekly/monthly revenue. This is a general overview of this option and all legal agreements will be drawn up and presented as we move forward.
